Russia is a Pedophile's Playground

This article will be short and to the point.

I found out about this a couple of days ago and thought I should share it.

Many people believe that Vladimir Putin is a good person and that he’s going against the World Economic Forum(WEF) and trying to get the corruption out of Ukraine. However, despite this reasoning, I think that it’s foolish to say that Putin is a good person. It’s funny how people talk about him like he is “curing” much of the corruption in Ukraine when he hasn’t even “cured” the same in Russia.

The main thing I want to address today is Russia’s problem with pedophilia.

If you think the US justice system is bad at bringing these pedophiles to justice, you haven’t seen Russia yet!

You don't hear about child & sex trafficking in Russia because it's rarely punished. In fact, in Russia, human/child trafficking is only punishable by up to 5 years in prison.

This is sickening. Of course, Russia is probably crawling with pedophiles because the punishment is so relaxed.

Article 1271 Trafficking in Persons [source: page 173]

1. Trafficking in persons, i.e. the buying-selling of a person or other actions committed for the purpose of such person’s exploitation in the form of recruitment, transportation, transfer, harboring, or receipt of such person, -

shall be punishable by a term of imprisonment of up to 5 years."

If Putin doesn't tolerate any pedophilia, why'd he sign a law giving child sex traffickers 5 years MAX in prison?

Article 152:

When Russia had a specific law for selling children it was called "Article 152".

"Trafficking in minors was defined in Article 152 of the Criminal Code as ‘buying-selling of a minor or the commission of any transactions involving the giving or receiving a minor’ and punishable by imprisonment up to five years. For the eight years, this law was on the books, at least 162 cases of this type were registered by law enforcement."

This says that for the last 8 years Russia has only charged 162 cases in the last 8 years!

If anyone is caught in human trafficking in the United States they get a minimum of 10 years, double the max in Russia!
